AsianFin—Nanjing Renxin Technology Co., Ltd., a Chinese enterprise engaged in making smart driving communication chip, announced on Friday at the Beijing Auto Show that it has recently secured nearly 100 million yuan in Pre-A++ round financing.

The company disclosed that the fund will primarily be used for the mass production of its first-generation 16Gbps high-performance automotive SerDes product, as well as for promoting its application in various scenarios and building a comprehensive customer service team.

Dang Weiguang, the founder and CEO of Renxin Technology, said that the company will uphold the simple business philosophy of "creating value for customers," continue to increase independent research and development efforts, enhance product capabilities, deepen cooperation with industry partners, and develop more solutions and products to meet market and customer demands, thereby jointly promoting technological progress and application innovation to contribute more to the industry's development.

According to Dang, Renxin Technology has completed four rounds of financing totaling nearly 300 million yuan since its establishment two years ago in February 2022. The company focuses on the research and innovation of automotive high-speed communication chips, with its main business being automotive chip design.

Currently, Renxin Technology's first 22nm high-performance automotive SerDes chip product has been taped out and will enter mass production in the second quarter of 2024. The chip is primarily suitable for applications such as high-definition camera transmission in vehicles, supporting transmission rates ranging from 1.6bps to 16Gbps, a transmission distance of up to 15 meters, and a insertion loss compensation capability of over 30dB, leading its peers in terms of rate and technology.
